London to Brighton

19th June – One of the major events of the year, The London to Brighton Cycle Race took place on Father’s Day and I was part of the team shooting on the finish line. I’ve been on this spot a few times now for Marathons, Half-Marathons and the Bikes.

A lovely start to the day on the seafront in bright sunshine – then as the afternoon developed, the rain came in and didn’t really stop for more than a few minutes at a time! You’ve never seen such a soggy bunch of photographers!

As usual, we were shooting ‘tethered’ to live boxes uploading the photos in real time, so there are no copies of the images to post, but here’s a few phone and spare camera shots. Lots of sons/daughters and Dads crossing the line together 🙂
