Brighton Half Marathon

Sunday 26th Feb I was in Brighton at the crack of dawn to shoot the Brighton Half for the second time. The last time was in October 2021. It’s always a great event, although very cold and hard work.

As before, my position was at Hove Beach Huts, so after meeting the team at the main finish line on Madeira Drive to collect the online kit it was then a 2-mile walk to the Huts where myself and a couple of other togs shot the finish of the junior 1-mile race then waited for the half-marathon runners to come through at about mile 11. Once every runner was through, we then packed up and walked the two miles back to the finish again! By the time we got back to our cars, we’d walked 50% of a half-marathon!!

As usual we were shooting ‘tethered’, so I don’t even get to see the images and I didn’t get any spare camera shots. So this is a few from last time!!

I’ll be back in a few weeks to shoot the full Marathon again!
